Mr. Eugene Barnes, age 56 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, February 11, at his residence.

Mr. Barnes was born July 28, 1963, in Guin,, AL, to the late Pervy and Audie Barnes.  He was a construction worker.

Survivors include his wife, Susan Franks of Vernon, AL; one brother, Clayton (Linda) Barnes; one step-daughter, Christina Brown; two daughters, Cassie Elsworth and Ashley Barnes; and his grandchildren.
