Mrs. Eula Mae Davis, age 93, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, June 9, 2023, at Generations of Vernon.

Mrs. Davis was born April 17, 1930, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Kager and Flaudie Perkins.  She was a seamstress and was married to the late Charles Davis.  She was also preceded in death by her brother, Willie Gene Perkins; her brother-in-law, Lamon Duckworth; and her sister-in-law, Charlene South Perkins.

Funeral services will be Sunday, June 11, at 2:00 PM, with Leonard Corbett and Wayne Overton officiating.  Burial will follow at Wesley Chapel Cemetery in Fayette.  Visitation will be 1:15-2:00 prior to the service.

Active pallbearers will be David Collins, Jerry McDonald, Tony Perkins, Dale Perkins, David Perkins, and Sherman Rector.  Honorary pallbearers will be Generations of Vernon, Amedisys Hospice, Dr. Fred and Debbie Yerby and staff, and Pat May.

Survivors include her son, Hubert Dwaine (Dean) Davis; her sister, Evelyn Duckworth; her brother, Brooks Perkins; her sister-in-law, Lois Perkins; and several nieces and nephews.
