Obituary

Mrs. Eula Mae Easley Hall, age 86 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, May 14, 2014, at her residence.

Mrs. Hall was born January 4, 1928, in Birmingham, AL, to the late Lonnie Rugus Easley and Eula Ashmore Easley Partain. She was a homemaker, a member of Bethel Church of Christ, and enjoyed art, reading, exercise, and teaching Bible school. In addition to her parents, Mrs. Hall was preceded in death by her three brothers, Eldridge Easley, L.R. Easley, and Oakley Easley, and one sister, Martine Easley Polk.

Funeral services will be Friday at 2:30 in the funeral home chapel with Willis Logan and Jeff Harvill officiating. Graveside services will follow at Woodlawn Cemetery in Steens, MS. Visitation will be Friday 1:30-2:30 prior to the service.

Survivors include her husband, Horace Esker "Eck" Hall, Sr. of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Elizabeth "Libby" Easley Hall Darnell of Tampa, FL, Dorothy "Dotty" Jayne Hall Hadley of Robertsdale, AL; one son, Horace "Ecky" Esker Hall, Jr. of Fairmount, GA; nine grandchildren; numerous grandchildren; and one sister, Clara Easley Von Kanel of Columbus, MS.
