Mrs. Wilma Eulene Oakes Taylor, age 95, of Millport, AL, passed away Thursday, January 13, 2022, at her residence.

Mrs. Taylor was born November 21, 1926, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Marion C. and Sebbie Jane Perkins.  She was a seamstress at the garment plant, and enjoyed quilting and working in her flower garden.  Mrs. Taylor was also preceded in death by her husband, Erskine Taylor; her son, Don Oakes; her daughter, Debbie Patterson; four brothers, Greeley Perkins, Grady Perkins, Lloyd Perkins, and Jay T. Perkins; and two sisters, Wilkie Boman and Beatrice Pennington.

Funeral services will be Saturday, January 15, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Israel Price officiating.  Burial will follow in the Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include her son, Ronnie (Glenda) Oakes, of Millport, AL; seven grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; and 2 great-great-grandchildren.
