Obituary
Mr. F. L. Yarbrough, age 81 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, Aug. 12, 2010, at Generations of Vernon.
Mr. Yarbrough was born Nov. 5, 1928, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Banks and Ardie Yarbrough and was a service station attendant.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Vernon City Cemetery. Visitation will be 10-11 prior to the service.
Survivors are sister, Dorothy Crawford, of Vernon; brother, Johnny Yarbrough, of Montgomery, AL; goddaughter, Vickie Lacy, of Vernon; grandchildren, Houston Lacy and Jessie Lacy, both of Vernon.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth Sey Yarbrough; parents, Banks and Ardie Yarbrough; brothers, Clearman Yarbrough, James Yarbrough, J.T. Yarbrough, and Clayton Yarbrough; and sisters, Louise Richardson and Idora Hill.
