Mrs. Allie Faye Patrick Salter, age 82 of Vernon, passed away Sunday, July 15, 2018, at Fayette Long Term Care.

Mrs. Salter was born January 18, 1936, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Golden Cleveland and Ommie Eardeal Patrick.  She was a housewife and was married to the late George Robert Salter.  Mrs. Salter was also preceded in death by her daughter, Janet Olmos, and two brothers, Golden Patrick and Roland Patrick.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 1:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Terry Robinson officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.
Visitation will be Thursday 11:00-1:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include one son, Bobby (Karen) Salter of Collegedale, TN; five grandchildren, Joshua Salter, Justin (Amber) Salter, Tommy Sorrow, Beth Bassi, and Stacey Sorrow; seven great-grandchildren; two brothers, Cecil Patrick and Albert Patrick; one sister, Ann (Dan) Glassgow; one son-in-law, Felix Olmos; and a host of family and friends.
