Mr. Fred Carl Reeves, age 92 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, May 12, 2020, at Generations of Vernon.

Mr. Reeves was born June 18, 1927, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Calvin and Dora Reeves.  He was a diesel mechanic and a member of Friendship South Baptist Church.  In addition to his parents, Mr. Reeves was preceded in death by his wives, Jallie Reeves and Icie Reeves; his daughter, Janette Reeves; three brothers, Floyd Reeves, Marshel Reeves, and Cloyce Reeves; and four sisters, Lela Roberts, Cloerene Ashcraft, Sallie Reeves, and Jeanette Cline.

There will be family only service Thursday, at 2:00, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Carlos Dean officiating.  Burial will follow at Wofford.

Pallbearers will be Ray Pennington, Thomas Pennington, Alan Elliott, and Randell Moore.

Survivors include his daughter, Janice Mobley of Aberdeen, MS; his grandchildren; and a host of nieces, nephews, and friends.
