Mr. Gary Arlington Corbett, age 72 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, November 11, 2021, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Mr. Corbett was born January 30, 1949, in Lamar County, AL, to the late A.J. and Grace Christian Corbett.  He served in the U.S. Marine Corps, and was the Superintendent and co-owner of Rev Construction.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Joanne Maddox.

Funeral services will be Monday, November 15, at 2:00 PM, at Oaks Chapel Baptist Church, with Bro. Billy Carl Sullivan officiating.  He will lie in state at the church 1:00-2:00.  Burial will follow at the adjoining cemetery.  Visitation will be Sunday evening, 6:00-8:00, at the funeral home.

Survivors include his wife, Patricia Corbett, of Vernon, AL; two daughters, MaHaley (Chris) White, of Sulligent, AL, and Jessica (Tyler) Kilgore, of Caledonia, MS; three grandchildren, Mason Arlington Dykes (USMC Bootcamp, Parris Island), Troy Kilgore, and Arlie Grace Kilgore; one sister, Brenda (Jimmy) Floyd; and a host of nieces, ne phews, other family, and friends.
