Obituary
Mrs. Gaulia Nell Robertson, age 83 of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, February 5, 2016, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.
Mrs. Robertson was born October 27, 1932, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Willie Perry and Maudie Jones. She was a seamstress and was married to the late William Orvin Robertson. She was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ and enjoyed gardening, fishing, cooking, and her grandchildren. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. Robertson was also preceded in death by two step-daughters, Reba Jo Crowe and Geraldine Robertson, and two step-grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with Travis Brown and Jesse Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel. Visitation will be Sunday 1:30-3:00 prior to the service.
Pallbearers will be Larry McLemore, Ken Cockrell, J.M. Hawkins, Mike Roney, Allen Jones, Ronnie Jones, Randy Reeves, Billy Carl Eastman, and Dale McGee.
Survivors include her daughter, Reta (Dan) Price of Vernon, AL; two step-sons, Edward Arnold (Sonny) Robertson and William Tyrone Robertson; one step-daughter, Watanna Cantrell; three grandchildren, Matt Price of Birmingham, AL, Will Price of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Caroline Price of Vernon, AL; and a host of step-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and other family and friends.
