Mr. Gene Lollar, age 75, of Millport, AL, passed away Monday, April 13, 2026, at his residence.

Mr. Lollar was born July 31, 1950, in Columbus, MS, to the late Gayner and Verdeal Lollar.  He was a painter and maintenance worker at Baptist Memorial Hospital, and he loved cooking, his family, fishing, and God.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers, Sherman Lollar and Mikey Lollar, and his sister, Sandy Cook.

Funeral services will be Thursday, April 16, at 2:00 PM, at the Mt. Nebo Church, with Terry McAdams officiating.  Burial will follow in the church cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 at the church prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Harold Partain, Matthew Morris, Ronnie Jaynes, Greg Wheat, Allen Pennington, and Curt Morris.

Survivors include his wife, Lauire Lollar, of Millport, AL; his son, Corey (Kelly) Lollar, of Millport, AL; four daughters, Rhiannon (Wade) Woodruff of Sulligent, AL, Kelsey (Joe) Graves of Millport, AL, Abby Lollar of Millport, AL, and Lauren Putnam (Justin) of Bellville, IL; 14 grandchildren, Marissa (Daniel) Brown, Evan and Ryland Lollar, Lillianna and Ivyanne Woodruff, Sarah, Skyler, Tommy, and Cypress Graves, and Carter, Caleb, Zoe, Eliza, and Andrew Putnam; one brother, Dennis (Sheila) Lollar; three sisters, Joyce Gentry, Hazel Smith, and Patsy Seals; his niece, Melissa Armstrong; and a host of other family and friends.
