Mr. Glen Allen Garrett, age 79 of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, November 28, 2020, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Mr. Garrett was born August 28, 1941, in Hamilton, MS, to the late Rueben Bill and Mary Lucille Garrett.  He served in the U.S. Army National Guard, and was a computer operations analyst with United Technologies.  He was also preceded in death by his brother, Tommy Garrett.

Funeral services will be Tuesday morning at 11:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Phillip Potter officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.  Visitation will be Tuesday morning, 10:00-11:00, prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Diane Garrett, of Columbus, MS; four sons, William Allen Garrett of South Haven, MS, Joshua Arbrooks (Jana) Garrett of Louisville, MS, Jacob Aaron (Kristin) Garrett of Amory, MS, and Jared Andrew (Annie Catherine) Garrett of Columbus, MS; six grandchildren, Kylie Elise Garrett, Emberlyn Raine Garrett, Noah Atticus Garrett, Jude Aaron Garrett, Lucy Jane Garrett, and Anna Rollins Garrett; and his friend, Billy McLemore.
