Mr. Sessel Glen Jackson, age 51 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, November 18, 2019, in Vernon.

Mr. Jackson was born May 20, 1968, in Vernon, AL, to Myrtis Jackson and the late Sessel Edward Jackson.  He was a faithful member of Calvary Baptist Church in Vernon, and he loved his church family.

Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Jerry Rae officiating.  Burial will follow in the Emmaus Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday afternoon 12:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his mother, Myrtis Jackson, of Vernon, AL; one sister, Susan Robinson of Sacramento, CA; one brother, Jody Jackson of Sulligent, AL; four nieces, Lydia James of Jackson Hole, WY, Haley Jackson of Sulligent, AL, Hannah Jackson of Sulligent, AL, and Renae Jackson of Sulligent, AL; and a host of other family and friends.
