Obituary
Miss Glenda Faye Reed, age 58 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, January 14, 2015, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Miss Reed was born May 25, 1956, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late James Curtis and Bessie Hooper Reed and was a child care provider. She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Minnie Bell Reed and Cheryl Reed Walker; her brother, Gay Vee Reed; her niece, Sheresia Reed; and her nephew, Christian Reed.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 1:00 in the funeral home chapel with Bro. C.J. Garrison officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Saturday 11-1 prior to the service.
Survivors include her daughter, Keyoka Reed of Vernon, AL; her son, Jeremy Reed of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Kinokia "Pookie", Kishiria "Chyna", and Kijashiana; three brothers, James Reed of Michigan, Harold Reed of Vernon, AL, and Ricky Dale Reed of Winfield, AL; her sister, Melanie Reed of Vernon, AL; four nieces, Chanika Sparks, Monica Reed, Rochelle Reed, and Rachel Reed; and five nephews, Timothy Reed, Joshua Sparks, Demario Reed, Jacob Reed, and Samuel Reed.
