Obituary
Gloria Jean Johnson, age 66 of Vernon, passed away Saturday, Nov. 12, 2011, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.
Mrs. Johnson was born July 30, 1945 to the late Alfred and Cauzine Gartman. She worked as a set up person for Holley Performance.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Graveside services will follow at Ebenezer cemetery in Millport. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-8.
She is survived by her husband, Billy Johnson of Vernon; two sons, Chris (Mary Ann) Johnson of Sulligent and Jody (Misty) Johnson of Millport; daughter, Tina Randall of Hamilton, MS; two sisters, Rita Johnson of Millport and Sandra Ashcraft of Columbus; two brothers, Sonny Gartman Virginia Beach, VI and John Gartman of Millport; grandchildren, Chris (Amanda) Johnson, Christen Burnett, Taylor Johnson, Haylei Johnson, Tyler, Joshua, Aubrey Raine; great-grandchildren, Pyper Burnett, Kinsley Johnson, Conner Spann, Anna Spann, and Baby Johnson; a host of nieces and nephews; and her family from Holley Performance.
She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Billy Lyle Johnson; and sister, Alien Fields.
