Mr. Grover Lee Smith, age 77, of Winfield, AL and formerly of Vernon, passed away Sunday, July 26, 2020, at Diversicare of Winfield.

Mr. Smith was born October 8, 1942, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Phelon and Mamie Smith.  He lived in Kenosha, WI for many years, and was retired from Goodyear.  Mr. Smith loved reading his Bible and watching Alabama football.  He attended Celebration Worship Center.  He was also preceded in death by two brothers, Cecil Smith and Bobby Smith, and two sisters, Virginia Godsey and Lena McKay.

There will be a family graveside service Tuesday at 2:00 at Celebration Worship Center Cemetery in Vernon, with Bros. James Godsey and Lynn Godsey officiating.

Survivors include his sister, Laverne McKay, and a host of nieces and nephews.
