Harold Lee Goode, age 90, passed away Friday, April 19, 2019.

He was born in Birmingham, AL, to the late John Clifton and Addie Black Goode on July 18, 1928.  He is preceded in death by his parents; by his wife, Betty Jo Guyton Goode; grandson Matthew Hudson; and his brothers, Jerry Goode and Wilbur Goode.

He is survived by his sons, Scott (Wendy) Goode of Vernon, AL, Barry (Cindy) Goode of Columbus, MS, and Tim (Mary Jean) Hudson of Columbus, MS; his grandchildren, Amy (Aaron) Lawrence of Vernon, AL, Hannah (Brad) Shackelford of Vernon, AL, Jordan Hudson of Columbus, MS, Collen (Randal Robles) Hudson of Columbus, MS, and Russ Hudson of San Diego, CA; his granddog, Poncho Goode of Columbus, MS; his great-grandchildren, Caleb Lawrence, Nick Lawrence, Khloe Lawrence, Zoey Lawrence, and Greyson Shackelford of Vernon, AL; his brother, Wayne (Cindy) Goode of Lincoln, AL; and his sister, Carolyn (Terry) Simon of Birmingham, AL.

He was retired from Air Products after 21 years of service.  He was a veteran of the U.S. Army.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM at Chandler Funeral Home in Vernon, AL.  Vistiation will be Monday 1:00-2:00.  Bro. John Johnson will officiate.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill Cemetery.
