Obituary
Hoyt Edward Wright, age 87 of Schaumburg, IL, passed away Thursday, June 9, 2011, at Alexian Brothers Medical Center in Elk Grove Village, IL.
Mr. Wright was born February 17, 1924 in Collinsville, AL to the late Joshua Mark and Media (McHaney) Wright. He served as a helmsman in the U.S. Navy in World War II. Mr. Wright became a Christian in 1960 and served as a church deacon.
Funeral services will be Wed. at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Jesse Phillips officiating. Burial will follow at Christian Chapel. Visitation will be 10-11 prior to the service.
Survivors are his wife of 67 years, Frances Wright; son, Rayburn Wright; two daughters, Hazel Ziebell and Brenda Scott; sister, Gladys; eight grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; and seven great-great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two sisters, Esther and Louise; and brother, Thomas (TJ) Wright.
