Obituary
Mr. Hubert Kenneth Johnson, age 68 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 17, 2012 at Trinity Medical Center in Birmingham.
Mr. Johnson was born July 5, 1944 in Lamar Co., AL to the late Oakley Banks and Lillian Johnson. He was a presser at a garment plant and enjoyed playing music.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Walden officiating. Graveside services will follow at Walnut Grove. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-9.
Survivors include his wife, Alice Faye Johnson of Vernon, AL; four sons, Kevin Johnson of Richmond, VA, Terry (Norma) Rhudy of Reform, AL, Bobby Johnson of Vernon, AL, and Kenny Gilmore of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Kim Jenkins of Matthews, VA and Glenda (Henry) Hood of Vernon, AL; ten grandchildren; sister, Diane (Johnny) Winters of Vernon, AL; and a host of family and friends.
