Mrs. Idell Hankins, age 95 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, June 17, 2010 at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Hankins was born November 22, 1914 in Millport, AL to the late Henry Elbert and Isabelle Graham. She was a dietician at Lamar Co. Regional Hospital in Vernon.
Funeral services will be Saturday, June 19, at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with burial at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be 1-3 prior to the service.
Mrs. Hankins is survived by her daughters, Glennice (Earlie) Otts of Vernon and Ada Belle (Joe) Smith of Fayette; son, Gayron Paul (Jeri) Hankins of Voliban, TN; 5 grandchildren; 7 great-grandchildren; 2 great-great-grandchildren; brother, Ford Graham of Vernon; and daughter-in-law, Geraldine Hankins of Vernon.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Paul Hankins; her son, Wade Hankins; parents, Henry Elbert and Isabelle Graham; 3 sisters, Iva Mae Rector, Irene Graham, and Dorothy Woods; and brother, H.E. Graham.
