Mrs. Inez Watkins Porter, age 91, of Millport, AL, made her final journey home on Tuesday, June 18, 2024.

Mrs. Porter was born July 23, 1932, in Kennedy, AL, to the late Armon Smith and Jinnie Galloway Smith.  She was retired from Chromalox, and was a loving mother, grandmother, and great-grandmother who loved the Lord.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Porter was predeceased by her first husband, Buford Watkins; her second husband, Roy Porter; her son, Steve Watkins; her grandson, Matt Brasher; and one step-daughter.

Funeral services will be Friday, June 21, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Carlos Dean officiating.  Burial will follow at Walnut Grove Cemetery.  Visitation will be 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Mrs. Porter is survived by her daughters, Judy Davis of Millport, AL, Linda (Stanley) Humphryes of Adger, AL, and Lisa (Terry) Brasher of Smithville, MS; two step-daughters; six grandchildren, Tim Church, Chris Humphryes, Rebecca Humphryes, James Perkins, Billy Hawkins, and Bethany Fortner; and a number of great-grandchildren.
