Mr. James Elton Price, age 86, of Millport, AL, passed away Saturday, August 27, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Price was born September 18, 1935, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Andrew and Myrtie Bell Price.  He was a retired business owner, and was married to the late Carolyn Hampton Price.  He was also preceded in death by one daughter; two brothers, Maxwell Price and Wayne Price; and four sisters, Wilma Chaffin, Bertha Chaffin, Annie Chaffin, and Dorothy Otts.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, August 31, at 1:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. Danny Thompson officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be 12:00-1:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include two daughters, Shalan Evans and Kathryn Taylor; four sons, Tony Price, Jimbo Price, Dominick Price, and Little James Price; a host of grandchildren; and two great-granddaughters, Elizabeth Jane Price and Brooklynn Grace Price.
