Obituary
Mr. James Arnald Stanford, age 68 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Tuesday, September 30, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Mr. Stanford was born March 2, 1946, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Earnie and Ruby Mae Stanford. He was a mechanic at McCoy Manufacturing and a member of Pleasant Ridge Freewill Baptist Church. In addition to his parents, Mr. Stanford was also preceded in death by his sister, Lucile Wheeler, and his brother, Cecil Stanford.
Funeral services will be Friday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with Glenn Hughes officiating. Graveside services will follow at Blaylock Cemetery near Detroit. Visitation will be Thursday evening 6-9.
Mr. Stanford is survived by his wife, Barbara Stanford of Sulligent, AL; his daughter, Wanda Wilson of Sulligent, AL; two grandchildren, Ethan Stanford and Jessie Wilson, both of Sulligent, AL; and his great-grandson, Rayburn James Cunningham of Sulligent, AL.
