Mrs. Janice Marie Elliott, age 63 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, February 25, 2021, at her residence.

Mrs. Elliott was born June 10, 1957, in Fayette, AL, to the late James Earl and Martha Butler.  She did paint and body work at Chromalox, and enjoyed spending time with her family.  In addition to her parents, Mrs. Elliott was preceded in death by her step-daughter, Marsha Elliott, and her brother-in-law, Larry DuBose.

Funeral services will be Sunday, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Joe Beckham and Eddie Ayers officiating.  Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Church Cemetery.  Visitation will be Saturday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM, and Sunday 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Shawn Lockhart, Stephen Matthews, Kerry Gosa, Lee Myers, Wayne Baines, and Trey Christmas.

Survivors include her husband, Dennis Elliott, of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Leashia Kyzer, of Vernon, AL; one son, Jonathan Birmingham, of Vernon, AL; one step-daughter, Stacy (Johnny) Goodspeed, of Birmingham, AL; one step-son, Richie (Sheryl) Elliott, of Rayeford, NC; six grandchilren, Kyzer Jimenez, Blake Crawford, Bryce Crawford, Samantha Elliott, Michael Elliott, and Rainey Elliott; one sister, Brenda DuBose; and numerous friends.< /p>
