Mr. Jason Carl Hawkins, age 42 of Smithville, MS, passed away Saturday, May 4, 2019.

Jason was born March 6, 1977 in Vernon, AL.  He was a supervisor for United Furniture, and was preceded in death by grandparents, Morris Welch and Nell (Welch) Smith and Jim and Ann Hawkins.

There will be a memorial service Saturday, May 11, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with James Godsey officiating.

Jason is survived by his mother, Linda Gater; his father, Rickey Hawkins; and his brother, Justin Hawkins.
