Mrs. Helen Jeanette Lawrence, age 83, of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, November 16, 2023, at her residence.

Mrs. Lawrence was born November 30, 1939, in Florida, to the late James Eben and Susie Bell Haney.  She was a house wife and was married to the late Billy Lawrence.  Mrs. Lawrence was also preceded in death by her daughter, Julie Marie Lawrence; her grandson, Daniel Rogers; and five brothers.

Funeral services will be Saturday, November 18, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with David Maxson officiating.  Burial will follow at in the Christian Chapel Cemetery.  Visitation will be 10:00-11:00 AM prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Ryan Lawrence, Scotty Lawrence, Dakota Rogers, Will Rogers, Justin Thomas, and Drake Jones.

Survivors include three sons, B.J. (Theresa) Lawrence of Sulligent, AL, Carl (Sheila) Lawrence of Vernon, AL, and Scotty (Kathy) Lawrence of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Jody (Sam) Rogers of Vernon, AL; 12 grandchildren, Genea, Jordyn, Ryan, Erin, Josh, Jennifer, Bruce, Benji, Scotty, Dakota, Autumn, and Will; 17 great-grandchildren, Avery, Ty, Lily, Carlie, Cadee, Kenadee, Reyna, Luke, Holly, Noah, Jonah, Bellah, Zack, Bryan, Bently, Bailey, and Sawyer; two brothers, Rhett Haney and Bobby Haney; and two sisters, Katy Skinner and Laurie Finuff.
