Mr. Jerry Copeland, age 83, of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, August 9, 2022, at his residence.

Mr. Copeland was born February 25, 1939, in Fulton, KY, to the late Clarence and Clara Copeland.  He served in and retired from the U.S. Air Force, and served in the Vietnam war.  He was also preceded in death by his wife, Ann Copeland; his son, Jerry Dale Copeland; his grandson, Jason Dale Sullivan; and his brothers and sisters.

Funeral services will be Tuesday, August 16, at 11:00 AM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Lonnel Plyer officiating.  A graveside service with military honors will follow at Fairview Cemetery in Double Springs.  Visitation will be Monday evening, 6:00-8:00 PM.

Survivors include two daughters, Teresa "Terri" (Danny) Davis of Columbus, MS and Jerri Dawn Brock of Sulligent, AL; three grandchildren, Jeremy Daniel Sullivan, Kelli Davis-Faris, and Kim Davis; six great-grandchildren, Savannah Nicole Brock, Jaylen Denise Sullivan, Dalton Michael Reel, Courtney Allen, Katie Belcher, and Hailee Kearns; two brothers, Tom (Faye) Copeland and Clarence Copeland, Jr.; and one sister, Pam (Jim) Resnic.</p >
