Obituary
Mrs. Jimmie Nell Cribbs, age 80 of Vernon, AL, passed away Monday, April 30, 2012, at Generations of Vernon.
Mrs. Cribbs was born July 9, 1931, in Lowndes Co., MS, to the late John Thomas and Mary Thornley. She was a cosmotologist and member of First Freewill Baptist Church.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 in the funeral home chapel with Joe Beckon officiating. Burial will follow at New Hope Cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday morning 9-11 prior to the service.
Survivors are her daughter, Marth (Zadus) Turner of Vernon, AL; three grandchildren, Amy (Ray) Kilpatrick of Vernon, AL, Emily (Jason) Hatfield of Vernon, AL, and Kimberly (Larry Wayne) Pinkerton of Fayette, AL; nine great-grandchildren; brother, Buddy Thornley of Texas; and three sisters, Laura (Rex) White of Vernon, AL, Betty (Bryan) Barnes of Vernon, AL, and Nina (Leonard) Monroe.
