Obituary
Mrs. Jimmie Caroline McDonald, age 79 of Fayette, AL, passed away Monday, November 24, 2014, at DCH Regional Medical Center.
Mrs. McDonald was born June 17, 1935, in Walker Co., AL, to the late Robert D. and Anna Lou Garner. She was a machinist at the garment plant, enjoyed crocheting, and was married to the late Kermit McDonald. In addition to her husband and parents, Mrs. McDonald was also preceded in death by her step-mother, Eva Garner.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 at the Providence United Methodist Church with Alicia Rhodes officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Friday evening 6-9 at the funeral home.
Survivors include three daughters, Cindy (Chris) Fayley of Fayette, AL, Patricia Head (Ronald Price) of Vernon, AL, and Doris (Lee) Daw of Beaverton, AL; one son, Robert (Mary) McDonald of Vernon, AL; eleven grandchildren; four step-grandchildren; seven great-grandchildren; three step-great-grandchildren; one brother, Hoyt (Mary Ann) Garner of Fayette, AL; and one niece and nephew.
