Mr. James "Jimmy" Lowell Wheeler, Jr., age 58 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, December 3, at North Mississippi Medical Center-Gilmore in Amory, MS.

Jimmy was born December 13, 1961, in Vernon, AL, to the late James Lowell Wheeler, Sr. and Jessie Mae Shelton Wheeler.  He was also preceded in death by his sister, Vickie Reed.  Jimmy loved Alabama football, hunting, fishing, sitting by the lake, and being out on the open road on his Harley Davidson were all things he cherished.  Family and friends were the things he cherished most.

Funeral services will be Monday at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Stuart Vail officiating.  Burial will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Monday 1:00-2:00 prior to the service.

Survivors include his sister, Cheryl (Rodney) Sizemore of Sulligent, AL; his brother-in-law, Ray Reed; two nephews, Brian Nichols and Zachary Reed; his dog Boots; and a host of aunts, uncles, cousins, and many close friends.
