Mrs. Jo Nina Taylor, age 88 of Kennedy, AL, passed away Thursday, April 7, 2016, at her residence.

Mrs. Taylor was born May 14, 1927, to the late Robert Lee and Ollie Mae Hankins. She was a seamstress and was a member of Liberty Free Will Baptist Church. She was also preceded in death by her husbands, J.C. DuBose and J.T. Taylor; her son, J.C. DuBose, Jr.; two sisters, Geraldine Selman and Regina Downey; her brother, Herman Hankins; and two daughters-in-law, Kay DuBose and Nancy DuBose.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Mark McGuire and Kevin Suddith officiating. Burial will follow at Liberty Free Will Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Sunday 2-3 prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Chacy DuBose, Kory Evans, Ty Burnett, Kevin Johnson, Blake Taylor, Clay Taylor, and Ryan McFerrin.

Survivors include three sons, Danny Joe (Tina) DuBose of Tuscaloosa, AL, Wayne DuBose of Vernon, AL, and Jeff (Bonna) Taylor of Kennedy, AL; six grandchildren, Wendy DuBose McGuire of Fayette, AL, Chacy DuBose of Tuscaloosa, AL, Crystal DuBose Evans of Fayette, AL, Shonna Taylor McFerrin of Tuscaloosa, AL, Blake Taylor of Tuscaloosa, AL, and Clay Taylor of Tuscaloosa, AL; six great-grandchildren, Kaylea McGuire Johnson, Jayce McGuire, Ty Burnett, Ali Burnett, Jake Taylor, and Roman McFerrin; and one sister, Virginia Hollis of Tupelo, MS.
