Mr. Vice was born September 28, 1949, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Sidney and Argil Vice. He enjoyed being a truck driver for over 32 years, and was known as "Country Boy" to all of his truck driving buddies. He was preceded in death by his beloved parents, Sidney and Argil Vice; his brother, Leon Vice; and his aunts and uncles.
Funeral services will be Wednesday at 2:14 PM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Joe Moseley, James Godsey, and Danny Hollis officiating. Graveside services will follow at Walnut Grove. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6:00-9:00.
Survivors include his wife of 42 loving years, Laura Vice of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Stephanie (Lee) Page of Vernon, AL; two sons, Johnny (Amber) Vice and Eddie (Ashley) Vice, both of Vernon, AL; nine grandchildren, Kristyn Vice, Adrianna Vice, William Drew "Bo" Vice, Braydon Vice, Emmalye "Cupcake" Page, Eli "Little Buddy" Page, Sara Beth "SB" Huff, Grant Huff, and Anna Kate "Little Bit" Huff; two great-grandchildren, Conner and Corbin Morrison; three brothers, Richard (Carolyn) Vice, Elbert (Linda) Vice, and Ray Vice, all of Vernon, AL; three sisters, Audean (Keith) Corkren of Vernon, AL, Barbara (Frank) Campbell of Kennedy, AL, and Mary Jane (Gail) Hawkins of Vernon, AL; a host of nieces and nephews whom he loved dearly; and all his truck driving buddies that he had for over the 32 years of what he enjoyed doing.
