Obituary
Mr. Johnnie Leaobert (Leo) Brock, age 77, of Millport, AL, passed away Saturday, Feb. 25, 2012, at his residence.
Mr. Brock was born Oct. 1, 1934, in Fernbank, AL to the late James Monroe and Mollie Ellie Brock. He served in the U.S. Army during the Korean Conflict and was a factory worker at United Technologies. He was a member of Mt. Harmony Freewill Baptist Church, was a cattle farmer and avid gardener, and loved to ride his tractor. He also enjoyed being with his grandchildren.
Funeral services will be Tuesday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Walden and Danny Thompson officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Monday evening 6-8.
Survivors are his wife, Betty Brock of Millport; son, Tony "Mack" (Sue) Brock of Millport; two daughters, Betsy (Tony) Smith of Caledonia and Kathy (Tony) Taylor of Vernon; eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren; brother, Bill (Elizabeth) Brock of Sulligent; and sister, Dora Reeves of Vernon.
