Mr. Johnny Mac Johnson, age 90, of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, August 11, 2024, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.

Mr. Johnson was born December 22, 1933, in Vernon, AL, to the late Harvey Tipton and Emma Arrebelle Duke Johnson.  He was a teacher and worked as an area organization director for ALFA.  He was also preceded in death by his brothers and sisters.

The family will have a private service at a later date.

Survivors include his wife, Fran Johnson, of Vernon, AL; two sons, Carlos Johnson of Melbourne, FL and John Johnson of Alexander City, AL; two grandchildren, Michael Johnson and Jordan Johnson; and a host of family and friends.
