Joseph Oscar Edmondson (J.O.) Jr., age 85 of Caledonia, MS, passed away Friday, March 11, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.
Mr. Edmondson was born April 10, 1925, in Cullman, Co., AL, to the late Joseph Oscar Edmondson, Sr. and Roseta Edmondson. He was a heavy equipment worker and was in the U.S. Navy.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Don Harding officiating. Graveside service will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be Saturday evening 6-8.
Mr. Edmondson is survived by two sons, Bobby Joe Edmondson, Sr. of Caledonia and Billy (Debbie) Edmondson of Caledonia; two daughters, Diane (Mikey) Lollar of Sulligent and Kay (Mark) Webster of Winfield; two sisters, Maxine Tucker of Cullman and Charlotte Butler of Cullman; eight grandchildren; and ten great-grandchildren.
