Obituary
Mrs. Josephine Glasgow, age 93 of Vernon, AL, passed away Wednesday, February 28, 2018, at Fayette Medical Center-DCH.
Mrs. Glasgow was born February 14, 1925, in Troy, MS, to the late Edward P. and Vallie Maharry. She was a homemaker and member of the Vernon Church of Christ. Mrs. Glasgow was also preceded in death by her husband, Joe Glasgow, six brothers, and two sisters.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Eddie Finch officiating. Burial will follow at Bethel Church of Christ Cemetery. Visitation will be Saturday 1:00-3:00 prior to the service.
Survivors include two sons, Joe (Joyce) Glasgow of Trussville, AL and Steve Glasgow of Vernon, AL; two grandsons, James (Krystle) Glasgow and Ethan Glasgow; one great-granddaughter, Lucie Anne-Grace Glasgow; and a host of other family and friends.
