Mrs. Josie Lee Fowler, age 82 of Columbus, MS, passed away Saturday, January 20, 2018, at Windsor Place in Columbus.

Mrs. Fowler was born July 26, 1935, in Lamar Co., AL, to the late Lee Roy and Isabella Pitts.  She was a homemaker and was married to the late Ivan Brooks Fowler.  Mrs. Fowler was also preceded in death by her son, Mike Fowler; two sisters, Lucille Hester and Ruby Kennedy; and four brothers, Newton Pitts, Roy Pitts, Troy Pitts, and Conley Pitts.

Funeral services will be Wednesday at 11:00 AM in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Kenny Gardner and Melvin Mordecai officiating.  Burial will follow at Macedonia Cemetery in Sulligent.  Visitation will be Tuesday evening 5:00-8:00.

Survivors include three daughters, Gloria Reeves, Kathy Hanson, and Linda Henson, all of Columbus, MS; six grandchildren, Laura Barton, Melissa Price, Cody Reeves, Clint Hanson, Chad Dove, and Justin Dove; six great-grandchildren; one daughter-in-law, Kim Fowler; and host of other family and friends.
