Obituary
Ms. Joyce Thomas, age 64 of Winfield, AL, passed away Thursday, May 22, 2014, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham, AL.
Ms. Thomas was born February 22, 1950, to the late Samuel and Ellie Ray Oakes Barnes. She was a caregiver. In addition to her parents, she was also preceded in death by two brothers, James Barnes and Hubert Barnes, and one grandchild.
There will be a visitation only Monday afternoon 12:30-2:00 at the funeral home.
Survivors include three sons, William Ray Thomas of Fayette, AL, Daniel (Brandy) Thomas of Carlton, OR, and Michael Thomas of Vernon, AL; one sister, Dottie Barnes of Vernon, AL; and four grandchildren, Ethan Thomas, Jade Thomas, Daniel Thomas, Jr., and Brayton Brown.
