Obituary

Judy Anne (Bobo) Johnson, born December 1, 1949, in Columbus, MS, to the late Reedus and Addie Will Bobo, left her loving family, a host of friends, and her faithful dog Buddy, to be with her Heavenly Father, Thursday, March 19, 2020, at the age of 70.
Judy died after a brief stay at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa, Alabama.  She had been receiving treatments at home, and had health struggles off and on after her massive heart attack in 2015, however, her struggles have now ended in victory and she is resting.
Judy began working at the Garment Plant in Vernon, Alabama after graduation from Lamar County High School.  For a time, Judy and her mom, Addie Bobo, had a ceramic shop, and then for many years was a "beloved" Avon Lady in Lamar County.  Customers eagerly awaited her home visits because she always had an easy personality, her sweet smile, and her beloved laugh that went all the way through her.  She always knew
exactly what her customers wanted and will be remembered for the kind deeds she did for many of them.
Judy was a faithful member of Bethel church of Christ, and a "Roll Tide" Alabama football fan.  Children called her home "the museum" because she was the ultimate "collector".  Judy loved (and this only touched the list) Elvis, Lucy, all of the old time game and TV shows, refrigerator magnets and we would be remiss if we did not include her best kept secret--she loved to see a man wear a pink shirt.
There will be a quiet, closed family service because of the mandatory restrictions concerning the novel coronavirus (COVID-19) quarantine and to protect those vulnerable to the virus.  Judy will be laid to rest at Furnace Hill Cemetery beside her beloved father and mother.
Judy leaves behind family members and a host of good friends.
