Mrs. Julie Robin Springfield Bailey, age 47 of Steens, MS, passed away Monday, December 15, 2014, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus.

Mrs. Bailey was born October 24, 1967, in Vernon, AL, to the late David and Kay Springfield and was a Certified Nurse's Assistant. She was also preceded in death by her grandson, Joe Bryant Duke.

Funeral services will be Thursday at 12:00 at Christian Chapel Church of Christ with Bro. Ralph Windell officiating. She will lie in state at the church 11-12. Graveside services will follow in the church cemetery. Visitation will be Wednesday evening 6-9 at the funeral home.

Mrs. Bailey is survived by her husband, Kenneth Bailey of Steens, MS; three daughters, Heather Springfield of Millport, AL, Kristy Crowell of Millport, AL, and Crystal Crowell of Vernon, AL; one son, Wayne Crowell of Millport, AL: three sons-in-law, Nathan Mordecai, Daniel Stanford, and Chad Mitchell; one daughter-in-law, Tiffany Ledbetter;
nine grandchildren, Hunter Duke, Nate Mordecai, Jr., Anna Bell Mordecai, Tyson Crowell, Kristina Crowell, Alagala Crowell, Kayla Crowell, Emily Crowell, Lashay Ledbetter, Wayne Crowell, Jr., and Lilan Crowell; three step-children; seven step-grandchildren; three sisters, Rachel (Kevin) Funderburk of Vernon, AL, Whitney Springfield of Vernon, AL, and Rhonda (John) Stokes; two nieces; three nephews; one great-niece and great-nephew; and host of cousins and friends.
