Obituary
Junior Ray Pennington, age 82 of Millport, passed away Monday, April 18, 2011, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.
Mr. Pennington was born Aug. 8, 1928 in Lamar Co. to the late Charles Thomas and Willie Jean Elliot and was a maintainance worker.
Funeral services will be Thursday at 2:00 in the funeral home chapel with Glen Boman, Jack Taylor, and Jerry Robinson officiating. Burial will follow at Walnut Grove.
He is survived by his wife, Betty Pennington, of Millport; son, Phillip Pennington of Columbus, MS; two daughters, Brenda Stephens of Vernon and Anita Robertson of Jackson, TN; two sisters, Robbie Newell of Millport and Mae Chandler of Pace, FL; five grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
