Mrs. Katherine Jane Taylor, age 55 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, November 24, 2015, at Baptist Memorial Hospital in Columbus, MS.
Mrs. Taylor was born May 27, 1960, in Vernon, AL, to the Maxine Owens and the late Earnest Owens. She was married to the late Thomas Taylor and was a seamstress.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 11:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with James Godsey officiating. Graveside services will follow at Walnut Grove. Visitation will be Friday evening 5-7.
Survivors include her mother, Maxine Owens of Vernon, AL; four daughters, Brenda Kay (Mark) Robertson, Gina Lavelle (Dale) Hopson, Laura Lee (Michael) Nowogorski, and Christy Dawn (Justin) Hawkins, all of Vernon, AL; five grandchildren, Krystal Victoria Moore, Michael Thomas Nowogorski, Mark Anthony Robertson, Jr., Katilynn Jolei Robertson, and Katherine Elizabeth Nowogorski; one brother, George Owens of Vernon, AL; three sisters, Lois (Larry) Eiynick, Marie (Mark) Anderson, and Glenda (David) Watkins; and host of family and friends.
