Mrs. Beverly Kay Perkins, age 67, of Vernon, AL, passed away Friday, September 5, 2025, at her residence.

Mrs. Perkins was born June 19, 1958, in Gadsden, AL, to the late Richard Varnon and Peggy Garcia.  She was a respiratory therapist, and was also preceded in death by her sister, Bonnie Mitchell.

There will be a memorial service Sunday, September 14, at 2:00 PM, at the Liberty Free Will Baptist Cemetery..

Survivors include her husband, David Perkins, of Vernon, AL; one daughter, Keri (Chad) Rogers, of Vernon, AL; one son, Tyler (Sarah) Pennington, of Caledonia, MS; four grandchildren, Katie Grace and Lyla Rogers, Everleigh Pennington, and Gracie Jaudon; one sister, Marcia Nichols, of  Atlanta, GA; and a host of other family and friends.
