Obituary
Julie Kay Randolph Springfield, age 63 of Vernon, passed away Sunday, Feb. 20, 2011, at DCH Regional Medical Center in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Springfield was born May 11, 1947, in Vernon to the late Martin and Lemmie Randolph. She was the activities coordinator at Generations of Vernon and was a member of Christian Chapel Church of Christ. She enjoyed cooking and spending time with her family.
Funeral services will be Wed. at 2:00 at Christian Chapel Church of Christ (instate 1-2) with Jesse Phillips and Don Randolph officiating. Burial will follow in the adjoining cemetery. Visitation will be Tuesday evening 6-8 at the funeral home.
Survivors are four daughters, Julie Robin (Kenny) Springfield Bailey of Columbus, Rhonda Kay (John Richard) Springfield Stokes of Millport, Rachel Dawn (Kevin) Springfield Funderburk of Vernon, and Whittney Seaira (Chris) Springfield Courville of Millport; eight grandchildren; nine great-grandchildren; three sisters, Ann McGee of Vernon, Sue Gill of Jasper, and Gaila (Herman) Robinson of Vernon; and one brother, Jerry Randolph of Corinth, MS.
She was preceded in death by her husband, David Springfield, Sr.; son, David Eugene Springfield, Jr.; her parents; great-grandson, Joe Bryant Duke; and two brothers, Buddy Randolph and Sammy Randolph.
