Mr. Kenneth Dale Pennington, age 72, of Helena, AL and formerly of Vernon, passed away Monday, December 4, 2023, at UAB Hospital in Birmingham.

Mr. Pennington was born February 26, 1951, in Vernon, AL, to the late Adlow and Willadean Pennington.  He served in the National Guard and worked in many different roles with Bellsouth/AT&T phone company.  He was married to the late Margaret Pennington, and was preceded in death by his brother, James Pennington.

There will be a graveside service Friday, December 8, at 1:30 PM, at Furnace Hill, with Phillip Slone officiating.  Visitation will be 12:00-1:30 at the funeral home prior to the service.

Survivors include his son, Kenny (Alice) Pennington, of Helena, AL; one daughter, Angee (Jay) Hornsby, of Atlanta, GA; five grandchildren, Hunter, Hudson, and Harper Pennington and Ava and Emily Hornsby; one brother, Robbie (Renee) Pennington, of Tuscaloosa, AL; his sister-in-law, Betty Pennington; and a host of other family and friends.
