Mr. Larry Kent "Kenny" White, Jr., age 57 of Vernon, AL, passed away Sunday, June 13, 2021, in Lowndes County, MS.

Kenny was born October 21, 1963, in Birmingham, AL, to Marie White Wilson, and the late Larry Kent White, Sr.  Kenny was an avid fisherman, arrowhead hunter, and loved the outdoors.  He loved spending time with his family and friends, and was very excited to be a papa to his first grandbaby in December.  He was a retired factory worker at Kerr McGee, and was also preceded in death by two brothers, Steven Smith and Dale Smith, and his nephew, Bryan Smith.

Funeral services will be Wednesday, June 16, at 2:00 PM, in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home, with Bro. James Godsey and Bro. Brian Reeves officiating.  A graveside service will follow at Furnace Hill.  Visitation will be Wednesday, 1:00-2:00, prior to the service.

Pallbearers will be Eric Smith, Steven White, Scott Westbrook, Chase Harrison, Carlos Isabell, and Bobby Wilson.

Survivors include his mother, Marie (Jim) Wilson, of Vernon, AL; one brother, Chuck (Charlon) White, of Vernon, AL; one son, Jeremy White, of Vernon, AL; two daughters, Kristen (Cory) Whitford and Kenlyn White, both of Vernon, AL; one grandchild on the way, Baby Girl Whitford; one sister-in-law, Lisa Smith, of Hayden, AL; and a host of other family and friends.
