Obituary
Mrs. Kitty Lee Jordan, age 75 of Vernon, AL, passed away Thursday, November 14, 2013, at Hospice of West Alabama in Tuscaloosa.
Mrs. Jordan was born August 22, 1938, in Lamar Co., AL to the late Clarence and Verla Pinkerton. She was a TV station programmer for WCBI in Columbus for a number of years and was married to the late Warren Jordan. In addition to her parents and husband, Mrs. Jordan was preceded in death by two brothers, Joe Pinkerton and Jack Pinkerton.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with Kenny Gardner and Horace Hall officiating. Burial will follow at Furnace Hill. Visitation will be 1-3 prior to the service.
Survivors include her son, Jeff (Rita) Jordan of Bonaire, GA; her daughter, Kim Jordan of Northport, AL; three grandchildren, Nikki Young of Bonaire, GA, Andrea (Steven) Carroll of Odenville, AL, and Wesley Jordan of Marietta, GA; one great-grandson, Hudson Carroll; and one brother, Larry Pinkerton.
