Mr. Larry Wayne Pinkerton, Sr., age 71 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, July 26, 2016, at Fayette Medical Center.

Mr. Pinkerton was born August 18, 1944, in Fayette, AL, to the late Clarence and Vela Pinkerton and was a supervisor at OMNOVA in Columbus, MS. In addition to his parents, Mr. Pinkerton was also preceded in death by two grandchildren, Cole Pinkerton and Presley Pinkerton.

Funeral services will be Friday at 1:00 in the chapel of Chandler Funeral Home with Eddie Finch and James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at Fellowship Baptist Cemetery. Visitation will be Friday 11-1 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Linda Pinkerton of Vernon, AL; three sons, Derrick (Alisha) Pinkerton of Vernon, AL, Shane Pinkerton of Vernon, AL, and Larry Wayne (Kim) Pinkerton, II of Fayette, AL; and six grandchildren, Matthew, Zac, Megan, Anna Kate, Trey, and Aleigha.
