Obituary
Mr. Larry Gene Reed, age 67 of Vernon, AL, passed away Tuesday, December 2, 2014, at his residence.
Mr. Reed was born January 23, 1947, in Vernon, AL, to the late Johnny R. and Opal Gladys Reed. He was a fork lift driver with Emerson and enjoyed coon hunting. In addition to his parents, Mr. Reed was preceded in death by his three brothers, John W. Reed, Kenneth Reed, and Gary Reed, and his sister, Betty Tidwell.
Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with burial at Lamar Memory Gardens. Visitation will be Sunday 12:30-3:00 prior to the service.
Mr. Reed is survived by his son, Mike (Jessica) Reed of Tuscumbia, AL; his daughter, Nancy Reed of Sulligent, AL; two grandchildren, Johnny and Lily Reed of Tuscumbia, AL; his sister-in-law, Ann Reed of Vernon, AL; his cousin, Peggy Holmes; a host of nieces and nephews; his great-nephew, Garrett Richards; and his special friend, Jason Wallace.
