Mr. L.C. Jacob "Jake" Madison, age 74 of Sulligent, AL, passed away Thursday, March 19, 2015, at Generations of Vernon.

Mr. Madison was born September 25, 1940, in Fayette Co., AL, to the late Lester and Mrytie Madison. He served in the U.S. Navy and Vietnam War and was a truck driver for Eskridge Trucking. In addition to his parents, Mr. Madison was preceded in death by his son, Butch Madison; his step-son, Ken Ray Lundy; two sisters, Marcie Madison and Kathy Lyons; and his brother, David Madison.

Funeral services will be Sunday at 3:00 in the funeral home chapel with James Godsey officiating. Burial will follow at the Full Gospel Cemtery. Visitation will be Sunday 1-3 prior to the service.

Survivors include his wife, Ann Madison of Sulligent; two daughters, Melissa McDaniel of Sulligent, AL and Tracy Madison of Vernon, AL; two sons, Stan Madison and Steve Madison, both of Vernon, AL; two step-daughters, Kathy Phillips of Caledonia, MS and Kim Price of Carrollton, AL; one step-son, Keith Lundy of Mobile, AL; five grandchildren, Mark Madison, Brent Hartley, Luke Madison, Kelsey McDaniel, and Caleb Madison; one great-grandson, Tye Madison; numerous step-grandchildren and step-great-grandchildren; and three sisters, Myrtlene Davis, Pat Takacs, and Joanna Scheunaman.
