Liffie Lee

Mrs. Liffie Lee, age 92, of Vernon, AL and formerly of Guin, passed away Friday, February 27, 2026, at the home of her sister.

Mrs. Lee was born November 23, 1933, in Lamar County, AL, to the late Frank Spann and Alma Graham Spann.  She was a member of Mt. Willing Baptist Church and attended Oakes Chapel Baptist Church as long as her health permitted.  She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willis Thomas and Ralph Lee; her parents; her brother Arnold Spann; and her sister, Joyce Kirklan.  

Graveside services will be held at Marion County Memorial Gardens in Guin Monday, March 2, at 1:00 PM, with Bro. Joe Moseley officiating.

Survivors include two sisters, Fay Thomas and Nell (Wayne) Trimm; her nephews, Phillip Thomas, Dale Spann, Don Spann, John (Cathy) Trimm, and Roger (Sharon) Kizzire; her niece, Sandy (Tye) Peel; and her great-nephew, Eli Peel.
